The Netson Family
The Netson Family is Brett Netson gtr. voc. and his two children Trevor dr. and Demmi key/synth. Also part of this group is Dave Grapp gtr./voc. He’s like the pretty daughter in the Adams Family. The project is folk music in the sense that they picked up what instruments were available and wrote some simple songs anyone can sing. The difference is that the instruments were electric guitars, old tube amps , digital echos,synthesizers and such. Echo and feedback are optional since the songs are just songs about life and things. A little dark like Brett’s old band “Caustic Resin”. A little melancholy like Dave’s old band “The Dirt Fishermen”. And Trev and Demmi keep it fresh like their respective bands “No Name No.9″ and “The Knotts”.
Like Sly Stone says.” Blood is thicker than the mud. It’s a family affair”.
