Central City Music Company is hard to explain because it is and was many things. It is a duo in Boise. It was a trio in Portland. It is an artificial home-studio project. It was a performing rock quartet. It might be the stage name for a singer/songwriter. I could be a classic rock cover-band. It may be a concise pop band or an exploratory jam band. Central City Music Company is whatever it wants to be.
Lately it has been Lorie Broumand on guitar and Sam Counsil on guitar and singing. A Cd recorded from 2005 to 2008 will be available in 2009. A Cd recorded between 2001 and 2004 is available now from CDbaby. Look for upcoming Central City Music Company shows to catch Sam and Lorie playing songs from these Cds, new songs, and cover songs.
